- The Purnia Municipal Corporation (Nagar Nigam), for plots within its limits. Under the Bihar Building Bye-laws 2014, an architect or structural engineer empanelled with the urban local body prepares the plan and supervises the work, and a decision is due within 60 days; the permission is valid for three years.
- Plot sizes
