The Hajipur Nagar Parishad (municipal council), which approves house plans in the town and, as reported in June 2025, also in the Hajipur planning area around it. Under the Bihar Building Bye-laws 2014, an architect or structural engineer empanelled with the urban local body prepares the plan and supervises the work, and a decision is due within 60 days; the permission is valid for three years. We prepare the drawings it asks for and guide you through the approval.

Plots are sold in sq ft and in katha and dhur: India Land Converter's standard for this district is 1 katha = 20 dhur = 1,361.25 sq ft (the katha differs across Bihar).
