- The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), through its engineering wing. A permit is needed before building, under the Nagaland Building Bye-Laws 2012 and the Nagaland Municipal Act 2001, and the application forms come from DMC's engineering wing.
- Plot sizes
- Plots are bought and sold in sq ft. Listings seen in October 2026 included 5,112 sq ft in Indisen, 7,200 sq ft in Khusiabil and 10,000 sq ft in Thahekhu village.
- Climate
