- The Shivpuri Municipal Council (Nagar Palika Parishad Shivpuri), for plots within town limits — Madhya Pradesh's online ABPAS 3.0 portal (Automated Building Plan Approval System). Since October 2022, residential plots of up to 105 sq m (about 1,130 sq ft) get a deemed permission online at once: the owner uploads the plan and pays the fee. The portal gives no stamped copy, so if a bank needs one, the owner asks the municipal body.

- Plots are bought and sold in sq ft, while the online deemed permission is set in square metres: 105 sq m is about 1,130 sq ft. Listings seen in October 2026 show plots of 600 sq ft in Verma Colony and 1,000 sq ft in Fatehpur, within that limit, and 1,300–3,200 sq ft in Shankar Colony, on A.B. Road, in Thakur Pura, on Circular Road and in Old Shivpuri.
